So,
Toad is in Vegas... Sin City, Booze, Bud, Gambling, Hookers, Hustlers,
and that has Toad thinking about sin... somewhat along the lines of
'Carnival' by an old hippie chica... and more specifically the Sin of
Ham. See, Skyler on Breaking Bad, a TV show with drug dealers,
murderers, and psychos of every sort, was the most hated character..
because she committed the sin of Ham.
Ham,
for the un-bibled among you, was a son of Noah - the animals in the
'ark' guy. After the flood was over, Noah planted grapes, made some
wine, and got blackout drunk. The bible refers to the event with a
number of euphemisms, but the conclusion of the event, Ham, and his son,
father of the Cananites (Arabs) , were cursed for all time.
Some
bible scholars think, between the Arab penchant for buggery and the
correlated uses of the phrases elsewhere in the bible, that Noah was
used like a woman... but I think the sin was one of lack of respect.
Nothing destroys a relationship faster than having no respect - Just
look at ex-couples that try it.
In
a strange way, hoes and drug dealers have more respect for Toad than
bankers do.. and I'd rather go to war with 100 criminals on my side,
than 100 bankers.
