35. If you don't understand, ask before it's too late.There are many times in my life that I did not heed this piece of advice. You have a small windo in which you can ask questions without looking like a buffoon. You do not have to dress up in a green leotard, but please, don't be so bashful if you need to know something.
That being said, don't ask questions about things you can find out on your own. Doing so will make you look like a moron.
