Social Justice Mentality - JumpNJive

Isaiah 30:8-10,12-14 KJV

[8] Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: [9] That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord : [10] Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

[12] Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: [13] Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. [14] And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

Each generation faces different challenges in our spiritual walk. We each face differing mentalities in the world around us. Some have faced persecution unto death. Others faced banishment and rejection. Some have enjoyed times of peace or even great awakenings in the Spirit.

The world that surrounds us is pervaded with a nasty spirit. It started in the beginning, when Lucifer declared that he would ascend to God’s throne. He thought it was wrong that One should rule many, even if that One was the Creator of all, so Satan rose in rebellion and was cast down.

In this last day, we see the handwork of the Prince of the Power of the Air. Witnessing on every hand his pervasive perversion and his wrath against the Most High. I’m talking about the predominant mind set of this age, what I believe could be the spirit of anti-Christ itself: the social justice movement.

What is social justice? Justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society. This philosophy states that there are injustices in our society which must be remedied, by force if necessary. It sounds good in theory, but in practice it’s goal seems to be the destruction of the structure of civilization.

Social justice in the United States really kicked off at the beginning of the 20th century with the women’s suffrage movement. Socialist women rebelled at the thought that they had no say in government and protested, along with weak men, until they were given the right to vote. This began to turn women’s attention away from what they were designed by God for, the care of their home and family, and began to cause them to focus more outside the home.

Then women began to leave the home for the workplace. Children were left to raise themselves, or were left in the care of strangers at daycare centers or pre-K. Then women began seeking political power. Now we have as many women in political office as men, it seems. Wouldn’t these women be better served raising up the next generation correctly instead of wasting their years torn between home and career, or foregoing a family altogether to pursue their career?

This has led us to a world where women believe they are the equal, if not better than, men at whatever they set their mind on. Far from the patriarchy they decry, we live in a matriarchal society, which lauds women for just being women and condemns men at every hand. I read a news article where a company (maybe Dove) had a commercial telling kids to not celebrate their father’s on Father’s Day, but their mothers.

This is rebellion against God’s plan. The man is to be head of the home and of the job and of the country. A woman’s place is at home. When women take authority over men, it does two things: It emasculates the man and empowers the woman. This leads to women despising men and the men hating the women, because their roles are reversed from what God intended.

Then we had the civil rights movement, which began as a well intentioned idea and morphed into a behemoth of oppression. All men are created equal, but society twisted good ideas and wrought devastation on the black community. The government instituted welfare, which led to rampant promiscuity and the decline of a two parent home. In 1960, 88% of children lived with both of their parents. In 2016, it had fallen to 66%. Single moms went from 8% to 23%. The black community has been hit hardest by this, going from 22% of single mother homes in 1960 to close to 70% in 2016.

This matters because government replaced God and family. Want to know why we see the unrest and civil discord we are seeing in our world? Why our civil authorities are being questioned at every turn? Why the pillars of civilization, family and God, are an afterthought? Social justice, which rebels against God’s Laws and tries to replace them with man’s opinions.

Roe v. Wade. Now we have had over 60 million babies sacrificed on the altar of convenience since 1973. Child sacrifice is alive and well. Again, we think we know better than God whether or not a child should be born. But this is an important “right” for the SJWs.

Then we had the gay rights movement, where they claimed to just want to be left alone to live their lives as they pleased, only to take every opportunity to attack anyone who did not approve of their lifestyle. If someone would dare to name homosexuality as a sin, which it is, they are attacked by the people who claim to be tolerant. Again we see rebellion against the natural order. Homosexuality was defined as a mental disorder until 1973. The Bible speaks of people being turned over in their minds.

Now we have the transgenders, trying to defy biology and say that even though they were born one way they really are the opposite gender. Basically saying that God made a mistake with them and that they should have been born the other gender. Or they say that there is hundreds of genders and you can float between them all and be whatever you feel like today. It’s insanity and again rebellion against the Creator.

This all matters because the world we are surrounded by begins to shape our thinking if we are not vigilant. Remember, Lucifer was the first social justice warrior. He looked up at God on His throne and began to resent the Almighty. He harbored rebellion. Satan believed that he had just as much a right to the throne as God. He saw what he thought was an injustice and wanted to right it. Welcome to the social justice movement, founded by Satan.

So we see people rise up against authority, because social justice doesn’t like absolute truth. Truth is only relative. One group of people’s truth trumps another groups truth in an effort to reach “equality”, which in actuality what they want is conformity. But Scripture tells us, “Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

There is one Truth. There is only one way to be saved. There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism. Only one God. All religions are not created equal, and 99.9% of them are false. There’s one gate and one set of keys, given out on the day of Pentecost. Repent, be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

The social justice mentality has no place in a child of God. It is anti-Christ. It is rebellion. Social justice tears down what God established: The man as head. The sanctity of the nuclear family. The sacredness of life itself. One man, one woman till death.

We are not called to be agitators in our society, we are called to be the salt and light. We are to pray for our leaders, not seek ways to overthrow them. Love your neighbor as yourself. Submit to God’s authority and trust in Him. Follow the law of God that the Holy Ghost has written in our hearts. Let’s keep social justice out of the church.
