34 Questions from Feminists - Part 8

Why can’t I sleep with as many people as I want to without being judged?

Guys are the pursuer in relationships, women are who are asked out. It is just the way it is. Guys typically have higher libidos, and will be the ones going for it. Because women hold the lock in the relationship market, this gives them several advantages. They get to hold the standards with who she sleeps with, she gets to have the guy pay. She gets to shoot down the guy and humiliate him if he doesn't live up to those expectations.

With that point of privilege, comes a few responsibilities, one of which is to not to sleep around with any guy on one night stands. Women hold the lock to the bedroom, if that lock can be opened by practically everyone, she has a crappy lock.

Conversely, it is the man who holds the lock to a long term relationship. How much respect does a guy who professes his undying love to crappy women and try to marry her get? None. It is just how it works. It is up to the woman to convince a guy that she is worthy of marrying. Many women today fail at this, especially if she failed to use her lock properly.
