What are good sources you have found for movies and other audiovisual entertainment?
My family dumped Netflix years ago. Good stuff was becoming choked out by garbage & rotating unavailability, the Netflix-produced shows were increasingly dark and woke, and the "friction" due to time wasted searching kept going up.
A host of streaming services have been released recently. I haven't taken the plunge. Are any of them good?
For the time being we have been extending our DVD / BluRay collection but that has limits as well. Most new films aren't that great.
What do you watch for education / entertainment and where do you get it?
Regarding the post pic I know that High Noon is supposed to be about the bitter repression those poor commies endured during the McCarthy era but the fact that they have to continually explain so means they failed. It's a Western about an all-American good guy shooting bad guys.
