99 Rules - Part 50 Early to bed, early to rise....

 

 

50. Never stay out after midnight three nights in a row unless something really good comes up on the third night.

We all have done it, we have the movie that we want to watch, and we stay up too late again and again. I end up doing that when my family goes to Oregon, leaving me here to work. It is fun the first night, but after that, it tears your body. We need the rest to function well. Not getting enough sleep leads to health problems like high blood pressure, chubbiness, and a general feeling of loserdom. 

Set yourself a bedtime routine and do your best to stick to it. Sure, you may be lame to insist you have to go to bed at 10:30 each night, which means getting home by 10:00, but you get ahead eventually. 

That being said, you can get away with one night here and there of stretching it into the AM, just don't make it a habit.
