Old Sluts Part 10 - Your Mom's Opinion

 

 We all have been there at one time or another. Mom caught us smoking, or playing doctor with the neighbor girl, or sticking the cat in the microwave. Whatever it is you done, she knows, and you have the wrath to deal with. 

The fact of the matter is, 99% of the time, your Mom loves you and wants the best for you. This holds especially true when it comes to who you decide to settle down with. If you are making a lifelong mistake, there will be tension at Thanksgiving or weekends whenever you have to drop the kids off for babysitting. Maybe your bride to be is hot and you think it will be great to have a life with her. Your mom is more practical, and does not have the sexual attraction to your bride. She will be able to look at things more realistically than you.

Several years ago, my oldest brother brings home this Old Slut (three kids, two dads) for Thanksgiving and announces that they are going to get married. The weekend starts off OK, but there is a huge sense of uneasiness throughout the Johnson household as my Dad is reading stories to these little bastard kids of hers and we can tell it is a new experience for them. Then on the night before they leave, my mom pulls my brother aside and tells him that he is an adult and can make his own decision, but if he goes through with this, she will refuse to go to the wedding. They leave, and everyone is uncomfortable.

A week goes by, and we get a call from my brother. He says they got into a fight about it, and she moved out. Funny thing is, he helped her move directly from his house, into another guy's house. Bullet dodged.
